It’s ok to not know what you feel on January first.
It’s ok if you don’t have your shit together.
it’s ok if you don’t know what direction you want to go.
It’s ok if you are unsure and lost.
It’s ok to have a wobble or five.
it’s ok if you make the wrong call.
It’s ok if you aren’t sure whether you are at fault or not.
It’s ok if you feel down when everyone else feels up.
It’s ok to fall down and not want to get back up.
It’s ok to retreat rather than go forward.
it’s ok if you are unsure of who you are.
it’s ok to let the tears fall when the sun is shining.
It’s ok to be you.
It’s ok to not know what being you is today.
It’s ok to leave it all till tomorrow.
it’s ok to be you.
It’s ok to get back into bed.
it’s ok to not want to talk to anyone.
its ok to feel the darkness around you.
it’s ok to know you’re not ok.
It’s ok to not know.

it’s ok to not be ok.
it’s ok to not be ok.
It’s ok to fall apart.
it’s ok to reach for light when all you can feel is darkness.
it’s ok to be afraid of the darkness.

It’s ok to get up the next day and not feel so dark.
it’s ok to wait until you feel ok.
it’s ok to lean into those you love.
it’s ok to lose parts of you while you find the light.
its ok to feel alone while you find yourself.
It’s ok to fall apart.
It’s ok to fall apart - you might need to hear that again.
It’s ok to be you in all your parts.
It’s ok to be you.
It’s ok to fall back together.
it’s ok to feel yourself after falling apart.
It’s soooo ok to be YOU and never forget that.

I just wrote this tonight….I’m sharing this with you so you might be tempted to share it with someone else….someone who unbeknownst to you might need to hear these words….or maybe someone you know is struggling with life leaning heavily on them….it’s ok to be you in all your moments….everything will get better I promise x
