Keeping the faith on the Emerald Isle for my American friends! x

I am writing a very short substack because I feel drawn to offer hope & faith from across the water. No matter what happens today or tomorrow in America, we, the rest of the world will not forget who you are America. You are a beautiful country full of beautiful people. Yes those at the top have lost their way but I can promise you that sadly it seems they have lost their way all across the world too. The standard of leadership in the world has plummetted and has left not only a lot to be desired but a lot to worry about too.

Today I just want to write to you to say that I am praying for your beautiful country. Some of my best friends are Americans and when I travelled to New York, Boston and Cape Codd in 2023, I can only tell you that it was one of the best experiences of my life. Your welcome, your warmth, your beauty, your charm and your loveliness left me pining to return the minute I hit Irish soil. You are a gorgeous country with gorgeous people and even though rtight now you don’t feel gorgeous, the rest of the world know that what is presently filling all our screens has nothing to do with the decent, hard working, lovely people of the United Statess.

Please do no forget what an amazing country and people you are. At the moment there is quite the crisis politically but please god it will all come right eventually. At the end of the day, these people at the top are just passing through, we the nations, the population, the people are what makes a country great so please do not forget how gorgeous ye are! And politically these suits are just passing through….

I don’t know a country across the world right now that has anyone leading it that is leading from a place of kindness and good will for their people. It says a lot about where we are in this moment in history & yes it is beyond a joke but we must not lose faith altogether.

No matter how bad it gets, this is a reminder to say that once we the people on the ground lead with our hearts towards each other, nobody can take that away from us. If anything, we need to be making even a greater reach out to each other as people are really struggling mentally. We must keep the lights on and not forget that just becuase people are shouting loud, that doesn’t always get you the win! Lets remain kind and compassion on the ground and please god the top end of this story will work out as it should. I’m going to pray for you and please god America will have its first female president in the coming days and that will be something very proud to celebrate.

My final words: My love for you and your country will not change no matter what! Our hearts and prayers are with ye and just don’t forget, the rest of the world know who you are, you are one of the soundest lot of people ever existed so don’t forget that xx Lean in and look up, everything will be ok in the end I promise x
