Valentine's Love Sent Your Way.....

For the day that's in it and all the rest that follow....

Today is Valentine’s Day right? And what does that mean….For some it’s a very special day, for others they want to just block it out and then for a few, it’s a whole ‘commercial load of you know what’…..Well I’m somewhere in the middle….but I actually believe in the soft gushy stuff I suppose because you know what, we never know what is around the corner for any of us, so no matter what, I choose love, even if it’s packaged up in a box of chocolates……

I do believe LOVE is the answer to everything…it’s fixes all problems. It's heals the heart of pain and hurt. It creates smiles on faces when you are not even there… and it is what we are all here for….LoVe is the answer to all questions…That and a cup of tea…well a mug of tea haha ;) You know my feelings about tea haha ;) So tea and love together - the perfect match in this world….

So this is a very short substack to say I think you’re deadly and never forget that if you place your hand on the left side of your chest, you will find and feel your purpose. You are here because your heart beats and is full of love…and no matter how much you fill it with, more can fit in….And on top of that….if it gets hurt…if it feels lost..if it feels lonely…..you can get more love….How special is that?

And of course life is not easy…. Love is found…and love is lost….Love is gained….and the love can get messy and escape….but around every corner, the opportunity to love again…. People we love leave….People we never knew enter….People who we didn’t know a year ago, we can know better than people we know all our lives….Love is the opening to happiness, peace, serenity and the ultimate pathway to joy and contentment in this world.

Love will make you smile. Love will make you laugh. Love will dry up your tears. Love will help you find your way. Love will be a light in the dark. Love will keep you looking up. Love will believe in you. Love will see your future when all you can see is your past. Love will help you step forward. Love is indeed the answer to the best part of this journey on earth. Keep looking for love. Keep looking up for love. Keep holding onto love when you find it. Like a flower in the garden, keep smiling at its beauty. And most importantly, share your love, spread your love and choose those who love you and invest that love back in. And of course tell those you love, that you love them in whatever way that works for you.

We are all just passing through on this earth and our time here is fragile and short. We never know what is around the corner. We never know when someone will be missing from our kitchen table. We never know when that person you love won’t be here…..We never know when it will all change. We might have a lifetime or we might not….Show your love and tell those that matter, that they matter. Smile. Hug. Spread the love.

Valentine Day may be a day where people go overboard with flowers, chocolates and cards but maybe, just maybe, there’s no harm in that. If you walked into intensive care or the oncology unit in a hospital today, I’m sure there are lots of people who would give anything to have more time. So let’s not waste our time slot of happiness here or at least not squander this moment in time…..

This letter is a reminder that you are loved and you are thought so much of….No matter how today goes, I want you to reread this sentence….now are you ready…read it with me…or say it with me….

I am LOVED! I am worthy! I am a giver of LoVe. I deserve to be loVed! And I am LOVed by many!!!

And you are loved by me, don’t forget that part….
