Happy Easter Louise, I awoke at 6.30 am and started to read and listen to your words, but a certain young person needed me, she is unwell, so I caught up a little later! What a sky this morning,was beautiful. I’m so happy for you, You really had a trip of a lifetime and got to meet wonderful people. In your fb lives , I felt we were all getting to meet with them too .You have fab memories with all those gorgeous friends, who I’m sure are all going to be visited again soon in the near future....thanks for your lovely substack this morning, lots of love to you beautiful beautiful Louise , you are the best.💜xx

Ahhh Louise, I love your list 😘 And thank you for the extra love as I read to the end (!) - of course I did. It’s gorgeous. I can relate to a lot of what you say about the US as one of my sisters has lived there for many years, and her family are firmly spread about there, so I’ve visited a bit and found the same: Americans can get a bad press but then, I dread to think how the world views the English these days - eeek! The point is, human beings are generally pre-disposed to be lovely, where ever you go. And I firmly believe that. Most people really are very nice. As my mum once famously said to me in a Weltschmerz-y teenage moment: you hear all the bad stuff in the news because there’s less of it, after all, it wouldn’t be ‘news’ aid it was all bad, would it. You and her would get on very well!!! Anyway, thank you for sharing your thoughts in another great blog post x

I looked forward to following your American tour felt the love, friendship and hospitality you experienced. Your pics reminded me of the great FB characters you encountered. You stayed with Anne who made you eat ‘ skinny cow’ 😂 Cool, calm and collected Mellisa your tour guide in Cape Cod, I love her voice. Meeting the awesome Kennedy twins, Tea 😜😂 and shenanigans in ‘Swing the Teapot’, St.Patrick’s Day celebrations at the Ashling Centre to mention a few you truly experienced an Irish Blessing in the States. 🦋🌈
