“For you can’t hear Irish tunes without knowing you’re Irish and wanting to pound that fact into the floor.” Words from the very wise author Jennifer Armstrong and my god could this be applied to my experience of the National Irish Music Fleadh that was held in Mullingar last week 🇮🇪 For anyone not native to the Irish language (myself included, I was always distracted in my Irish class- that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it), the word ‘Fleadh’ is pronounced as ‘Flaa’ and means festival.
First I read and later in the day I listened just to soak up up every minute. I enjoyed your weekend so much and every video you shared. My 💚 heart was beating and my feet tapping to the music. If I can ever talk my Son into getting a Passport, I may meet you at a Fleadh and collect that hug 💖xxx
