OK now, I started out with this in my email and I came over to see if you were doing a voice recording and you were. So it was great. I could do some things while I listen to you.
Had to smile as I listened to you talk about the small conversations you have with the people that have passed on. Of course talking about that, you know some people are gonna think you’re crazy. But I have to say I do the same thing. I do it a lot.
I remember a long long time ago, when both my parents were alive and I remember my mom was sick with cancer….. my dad says to me, Karen how do you know this stuff, how do you remember these things? Tell me some of the things that you remember. Now mind you my whole family was there so being the oldest child, I did start listing some of the things. My mom would say no that didn’t happen and my dad would say yes Jackie, yes, it did because I can remember this. Some of these things happened when I was a very small child definitely before school age.. My dad says why do you remember this and I said I don’t know dad, I don’t know. But the thoughts are there and I don’t forget them. And of course he told me I was weird! Ha ha!
So now I’m going to go back to your email. You have some videos in there. And I’m going to watch them.
Hi Lou, Loved your latest letter and as regards the music, as you probably know I'm a total musicaholic, In fact I don't know how I'd survive without it, its a huge part of my life and always was. Yola, Valerie June, your own Wallis, Sharon Shannon, Benson Boone, Post Malone, plus people like Nathan Carter, The Tumblin Paddies and Lisa McHugh are wonderful but I could write a novel, the list is so long and widely varied and I absolutely adore CMAT, ever since I heard her sing "I wanna be a cowboy baby! totally hooked. Thanks again Lou and the baby foxes are soo beautiful. xx Martina D

I loved this because it felt like you were right in the room with me and I needed a friend at that minute!
I loved it all, but particularly what you shared about friendship.
I've had many friends in my life that have come and gone, but just at this time in my life have made some of the most real and beautiful.
I have you to thank for that.
The foxes also hold a special meaning for me.
As I was about to end my marriage 14 years ago, a mother fox took up housing in my back yard with her two babies...I had also had 2 children.
It somehow signified my life and made me see what was important and that I had done part and it was time to finish that chapter.
Thank you for reminding me as another new chapter may be beginning.
