I love your substack, Louise! I don’t always get a chance to get to them when they land in my inbox, but I circle back and catch up as best I can. And I love, love, love listening to you reading them. You’re right, it IS the best way to experience your words.

The only thought that comes to mind about topics is -- becoming. After a loss, after severe grief, after big life changes (chosen or unchosen), what is the process of human “becoming” after such catalysts or invitations of new birth? Of spirit? Of mind? Of true life? Of one’s physical body? Of ??? I don’t know if I’m conveying this idea/feeling very well. I just know you’ve done a lot of work on “becoming” over the last few years and it is inspiring to many. I think that even we “old enough to be your mother” folks would love to hear more.😊

Love you, Lou!

Hi Louise,

I think once or twice a week is just fine. I don't always get to listen in or to read each one, but I try to circle back when I have a few extra minutes. I agree with the other's comments on having you read the post. I love hearing your words in your voice. It adds one more level of connection. I enjoy reading/hearing your words of encouragement, inspirations from nature, and honest reflections on life and grief. It is comforting knowing that we are not alone in whatever we are going through. And we all need inspiration to "just keep looking up!"

All the best,

Donna

I don't feel it comes to my inbox too often at all, and like others have said, if the day is busy I save it for a day when I have the time to enjoy it! I don't think anything as wonderful as this substack could ever be too often.

The only other thing I would say is, I know how many hours you pour into each one, and if it would be more fulfilling and nourishing for you to write to us weekly instead of twice a week, that is still the biggest gift and gives us even more time to look forward to it while also taking care of you.

Keep shining your light, Lou! Love you! xx

Thanks so much Lauren for your kindness, friendship and unending support to me. I will always be so grateful I found you when I did & as you know, we will be friends forever and ever.....until we are old and forgetful and then we will be friends all over again! Thanks so much for your lovely words as always and as the saying goes, thank god good people find good people. I am so so lucky I found you in this world! Granny was always brilliant at picking the best ones and you are indeed one of those. Love you lots xx

Hi Louise, Totally love the substack and your style of writing always hits the right note. Like some of the previous comments, for me anyway I don't always get to read the two during the week but I would usually read one and hold back the 2nd one until I have some spare time. That works for me. I know you pour your heart and soul into your writing and it is a big commitment , especially if you stay up really late to get each one finished (just thinking of you here Louise) but whatever you decide in the end I hope it enriches you as much as it does us the readers. I look forward to reading each week anyway as its akin to a lovely chat with a dear friend and that's so comforting and special. Lots of love. Martina.

Hi Louise, for me I just love to listen to your voice rather than read your sub stacks. It keeps me up to date with what you’ve been up to and if I need cheering up along the way too. I love the pictures also!! Anything else is a bonus they say. ☘️🦋🌈💚🐞🪶 Keep up the great work that you are doing Louise!! Looking forward to whatever surprises you always take time to share with us all of which I’m truly thankful!!

I can never get enough of your writing and words of light and love! But I’m thinking, so you can get some sleep, maybe a short one you can write in daylight hours or before bed once a week, and one longer one. I think those of us who are Facebook family members (I’d venture to say most of us,) find your Facebook lives to be a sort of podcast in itself and you don’t need to stay up all night for that. Facebook lives are your limelight too, where wisdom often comes out spontaneously. So maybe save some of that all nighter energy for that?

I think I said before Lou I'm way behind

But I will always get back n listen if I can

Loneliness is a big topic but I feel since covid lots of people are

We stopped socialising and even places we could go shut

Some didn't open again so I think lots of people say good bye to family in the morning and see no one till the evening It's hard too for older parents to admit they are lonely to their adult childern as they will look needy or clingy so that's my tuppence worth Lou
