Hi Lou, I hope you are well today. Just catching up now on the blog. There is really nothing I can add to your beautiful, thoughtful and insightful post. You have said it all, for me Mam is gone 9 weeks today and my heart is torn in pieces although I look as if I am getting on with things, dreading Christmas obviously but I will be taking your advice and holding on for dear life. Take good care, have a happy and peaceful Christmas and hope to see you next year. Martina
Hi Lou binge listening as I had visitors Very welcome ones Listening to you I though about this Christmas and realised I had lost some of my negative feelings
You see in 1995 on 13th Nov my lovely Mam died She was followed 6 weeks later by my Da So Christmas lost its sparkle for a long time
But this year we have grandkids here and that's a new joy a new sparkle
